Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas
After months of keeping the media guessing, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra finally confirmed their relationship today in Instagram posts. Their traditional roka ceremony was held today (August 18) at 10 am in the morning, followed by a lunch.
PeeCee wore an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla anarkali, and Nick was dressed in a classically Indian white kurta.
A party will be held in the evening for family and close friends.
Celebrities from Bollywood, including Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan and Bipasha flooded PeeCee with effusive good wishes on her Instagram post. Yet, the most special one was from her to-be father-in-law Kevin Jonas. He commented on her photo saying, "Welcome to the family!"
Nick and his family flew down to Mumbai on Friday morning. That evening itself, both the families went for dinner to a posh hotel in the city.
The couple is expected to tie the knot soon.
Priyanka and Nick sparked rumours when they arrived at last year's Met Gala together, both dressed in Ralph Lauren creations. The actress had explained on Jimmy Kimmel's show, "We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and we decided to go together. It was fun."
